M week was a lot of fun! We started by using all our friends to make the letter M.
(sorry the picture will not flip!!)
Then we practiced writing the letter M on our whiteboards. We thought of many things that start with M. Monkeys, moon, muffins, mom, mountains, mouth...(sorry the picture will not flip!!)

We also made the letter M out of a pipe cleaner.
The Primary colors are 1, 2, 3, red, yellow and blue.
This week we mixed yellow and blue and we got green!

We reviewed our numbers 1-10 this week by playing a monkey counting game. The girls had to count the number of monkeys and then find the number to put in the box next to the monkeys.

We also practiced counting items and circling the number of items there were. Then the girls could color the pictures.

M week is also for M&Ms! Yum! The girls did an M&M sort and sorted their M&Ms by colors. Then I showed them a graph of each of their M&Ms. We talked about how easy it is to see what color we have the most of and what color we have the least of when looking at a graph.
Then the girls had to make 2 patterns out of their M&Ms before I let them eat them:)

Here are my little monkeys! We sang 5 little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed and 5 Little Monkeys Swinging on a Tree, with our cute monkey masks:)
Monkey #1 Ashley, Monkey #2 Reese, Monkey #3 Olivia, Monkey #4 Keira
