Rr is for rainbow

This week we talked about the letter R. We learned that rainbow, rabbit, Reese, red, raccoon, all start with R.

We made a rainbow of Fruit Loops.

To bad there isnt an indigo colored Fruit Loop:)

We also made rainbow crayons. We peeled the wrappers off all our old or broken crayons, broke them up and put them in a cupcake tin and melted them down in the oven.

For sequencing this week we talked about things that need to be done in order or have a certain order. The days of the week and months of the year always come in the same order. When we put on our shoes we have to do it in order. The girls thought I was a little crazy when I tried to put on my shoes then my socks:)

They also thought I was crazy when I tried to give them a peanut butter sandwich like this:

But the girls did help me get the correct order of making the sandwich so we could have our snack.

We also put the seasons in order.

Rr is also for Rabbit:

We practiced our scissor skills:

We also practiced our numbers with a new game. When it was their turn they would pick a card, say what number was on it, find the number on the game board, trace the number and count out that amount of puff balls. The girls liked it, it was a fun way to practice their numbers:)

We also traced the numbers on 10 trains.

It was a fun week. Have a great weekend! See you all next week:)
