V is for Valentine

It was fun to start out February with V is for Valentine!

The girls cut out their own tissue paper and glued it on their heart to make a Valentine wreath.

We also have a Valentine number practice game. I call out a number and the girls take turns finding the number and counting out candy hearts for that number.

To finish up our month of sequencing, we read the story The Very Hungry Catepillar. The girls had 10 picture cards that were events in the story. They laid them out on the floor and had to put them in order.

Once they had them in the correct order, they could color them and glue them onto a long strip of paper.

V is also for Volleyball! We had a fun game of volleyball in the playroom:)
