First Week!

Our first week of Preschool went great! I did not think to take pictures this week until the kids had went home! I was very sad not to have pictures of your cuties in action while working on their different activities! I will try harder to remember next week:)

This week we worked on the letter Aa, number 0 (zero), circles and yellow. We had fun practicing writing the letter A on the white board, talking about zero meaning they have nothing. And how sad we are when we have zero cookies:( We made a fruit loop necklace since fruit loops are shaped like circles. The kids looked all around the preschool room looking for the things that are shaped like circles as well as anything that was the color yellow. They found a lot of things that were yellow since our classroom is decorated with bees! The children also enjoyed making their Book of Yellow pictures. We had fun reading it together. We also read a book called Animal Band. Animal starts with A and we talked about all the Animals they could think of. All the animals in the story play instruments so we made our own tambourine today so we could play along with the Animals in the story.
