Kk, 10, brown and patterns

This week we worked on the letter K. It was special because we have Keira in our class and her name begins with the letter K! The girls practiced writing the letter k on whiteboards and tracing it as well.


We played a new game called Roll A Kite since it was "K is for Kite" week. The girls would roll the dice and each number on the dice correlated with a piece of their kite. Once they rolled to get all their pieces they got to glue their kite together and add cotton balls for clouds.


We will be working on patterns this month. Usually we don't "play with our food" but this week we did:) Before the girls could eat their Fruit Loop snack, they had to make 3 different patterns. Then if they got them correct they could eat them!






They also made a goldfish, animal cracker pattern.


Our number this week was 10. I scrambled up all the numbers and we took turns putting the numbers back in order to review all the numbers we have learned so far.




Our color for the week was brown. We colored a mini book of brown. And thought of many different things that are brown.
