Our number for the week was 9. We added our ninth puff ball into our jar, counted out and glued 9 pieces of macaroni onto our paper jar, and played a fun Halloween game of "Don't Eat Jack" The "Don't Eat Jack" game board had 9 squares with the numbers in each one. When it was their turn they would go in the other room while the other girls would pick a number to be Jack. They loved yelling "DON'T EAT JACK!" when the number they chose was about to be eaten!
We learned the story 5 Little Pumpkins. The girls were able to color their own copy to take home.
We played a fun game of pin the nose on the pumpkin. The girls loved this, spinning and spinning and then trying to find the pumpkin on the wall. It was fun to watch too:)

Rapunzel (aka Keira) Pinning the nose on the pumpkinOur letter this week was J for Jack-o-lantern. The girls had to make a uppercase and lowercase J with their playdoh. They also made a Jack-o-lantern out of foam.
We learned some fun Halloween songs about ghosts and pumkins.

Happy Birthday Keira!!! Keira's birthday was on October 28th. She brought yummy cupcakes to celebrate with her preschool friends.
