First Day!

I was so pleased with how our first day of preschool went today! All of the kids got along and did so well! Here are some pictures of what your preschoolers did today:)

We talked about the letter Aa, and the A sound. The kids thought of different things that start with the letter A. Then we colored an apple, by coloring the capital A's red and the lowercase a's blue.

We also talked about the number zero. We talked about how we would not want a plate with zero cookies on it:( Then we looked at different baskets and they had to color the ones with zero bunnies in it.

We also read and listened to a story about obedience, and discussed that we are happy when we obey our mom, dad and teachers.

We read our nursery rhyme of the month, Jack Be Nimble (Jack in our class thought that was pretty neat:). We made a graph of our birthdays, favorite ice cream, and if we had pets at home or no pets at home, to get to know each other better.

The little busy bees also made their very own busy bee to hang up on the wall.

I am so proud of them! It is hard to be away from mom and dad, but they did so good!
I am looking forward to Thursday! I hope they are too!
