Hh, 7, hexagon, gray week

We started out H week by looking at the letter H and figuring out how we could make the letter with our class. I think they did a great job:)

We also read a story called A Hippo's Tale. After the story the girls made their own hippo puppet.

We practiced writing the letter H on our own white boards. They did great!I was very impressed!
I read the girls a poem about Hats. Then they made their own hat. I put a bunch of different foam letters on the table and the girls had to find an H to add to their hat.

We learned about the number 7. Here is our puff ball jar. It now has 7 puff balls in the jar for 7 week.

We also glued our 7 pieces of macaroni onto our paper jar.

Olivia is working on our Seven Fruit sheet. We had to draw in the number of fruit needed to make seven of each. And Reese is working on our Gray sheet. The girls had to color all of the pictures of gray things gray.

I have started giving the girls 10 minutes of free play after snack time. It is a much needed break for the girls and they play so great together. I love listening to their little imaginations as they work together in a make believe world:) They usually end up being princesses. I am so grateful that they play so well together.
